The Europa League is the second European competition in Champions Of Europe
The first round is in a group format where the teams will play 8 games, 4 home and 4 away
The top 8 teams in the group will qualify for the quarter finals
All knockout games, excluding the final, will be played over 2 legs
Penalties used if the aggregate scores are tied after 180 minutes
The final is a one off match at a neutral venue
The team finishing top will play the 8th placed team, the 2nd placed team will play the 7th placed team and so on
The top 4 teams will have home advantage in the second leg
The winners qualify for next seasons Champions League
